How To Install & Configure WuPlay Apk On Firestick, Fire TV.
A Stremio alternative built for Android TV.
WuPlay (pronounced woo-play) is a privacy-focused streaming app with multi-device sync that works with Stremio add-ons. No account registration required — just set up a profile and start watching;
WuPlay is a new streaming application, forked or “cloned” from the official Stremio App with a similar layout and features/setup process.
It is described as a “Privacy focused” APK with no account registration required, no IP tracking, and no pay walls.
Just like with Stremio – users can integrate popular Stremio Addons, create/manage user profiles, sync across multiple devices, and much more
IMPORTANT NOTE: The WuPlay APK is still in Beta and users will likely encounter bugs and other issues when using the application until a stable version is released. Make sure to read our full review guide below the installation steps for more information.
How To Install WuPlay Apk on Firestick or FireTV Just Follow The Mentioned Steps Below.
These
same steps also work for those using the Firestick Lite, Firestick 4K, 3rd Gen Fire TV Stick, Fire TVs, Fire TV Cube, and any Fire TV device. However, these instructions will also work on other popular streaming devices like the all Google TV & Android TV Boxes as well as various Smart.
- Open Firestick/FireTV
- Select Settings
- Select Developer Options
- Select Apps from Unknown Sources
- Select Turn On
- Now use the keyboard and start typing Downloader. Once you see Downloader underneath select it
- In the next screen select the Downloader icon
- Select Download
- Once downlaoded select Open
- Select ALLOW.
- Click OK
- Click in the Address Bar
- Type the following URL or Code exactly as it is listed here and click Go
- 5781040 
- Select Install
- You can now select Open here if you wish to get straight into the app but in this guide we will delete the install file just so you can save spave on your device so click Done
- Select Delete
- Select Delete again
- Now go back to your Home Screen and sroll down to the Your Apps & Games section and click See All which is to the left.
- Hover over WuPlay and click the Options button on your remote (3 horizontal lines). Then choose Move to front.
- Choose where you want to drop WuPlay then click the OK button on your remote.
That’s it! WuPlay is now successfully installed on your device.
- Visit your Apps List and find WuPlay to launch the app. Launch the WuPlay App
Step 2 – Create Profile & Sync Account
- After launching the app you are prompted to create a User Profile
- Choose your new Profile to begin the setup process
- Find Settings on the left hand side menu and click Add-ons. You are then provided with Your Profile Key
- On your PC or other device, use your preferred browser to visit config.wuplay.app and input your Key from the previous step
We can now integrate various Stremio Addons with Manifest URLs.
- You are now in the WuPlay Configurator Dashboard
- Click Add.
- Input your Addon URL and click Preview
- Your Addon will then display. Click Add
- Your installed addons are now displayed
You can configure and add as many Addons as you’d like. Simply use the Reorder button to manage these for your preferred display options.

WuPlay Features & Details
After integrating Addon(s) with your Debrid Providers, you can now use the WuPlay Application via home screen.
Here is a list of all the Features available.

Within the WuPlay Dashboard are a few Settings worth mentioning before you begin streaming.
Users can easiliy manage “Catalogs” by enabling different selections for Movies/Series within the Home and Discover Page
- You can also view Privacy & Data Information with options to Download/Import Data and even delete your Profile
The WuPlay APK also has some notable Features including the ability to toggle auto-play as pictured below. (We suggest turing this Off)
You can use the Miscellaneous category to adjust Filmography Sort, User Interface design, and more.
Within Playback are various Settings to adjust Language and Subtitles

WuPlay is a well put together application that we are happy to see in development. Here are the current Pros and Cons of the APK.
What We Like
- Stremio Addon Capabilities
- User Profiles
- Sync with Multiple devices
- Configuration Dashboard
What We Don’t Like
- Less Modern User Interface
- Still in Beta (some bugs)
In our initial testing, we are pleased with what WuPlay has to offer, especially since the application is still in Beta development.
While the User Interface lacks in modern appeal, it is still extremely easy to use especially when filtering your content selections.
Adding Stremio Addons is a simple process and the ability to create different User Profiles is a fabulous addition that we don’t currently see with the Stremio App.
Overall, we are excited to see the WuPlay App available for download on Google/Android TV and more and hope to see new additions/upgrades as it works towards stable status
